An unconventional house with a wide range of conversion options in Montrouge, on the edge of the capital.
Built at the beginning of the 20th century, this ochre brick house has a roof with interlocking tiles. Standing on a quiet street and facing south, it spans four levels, including a basement. The abutting garage, topped by a vast glass roof, connects with the rest of the house via a series of rooms, including a workshop and a study. The garden and paved, partially covered courtyard complete the property.
The houseTwo gates provide access from the street: one to the covered parking area, the other leading to the paved courtyard of the house, protected by a glass roof.
The ground floor
The house has two entrances: the first leading to the workshop, the second, of ochre bricks, to the living area. Behind the front door, the entrance hall leads to a long sitting room with a fireplace at the far end. This is followed by a bathroom and a pink laundry room. Opposite this first set of rooms are the study and the workshop. This provides direct access to the Eiffel style covered parking area designed to shelter several cars.
The first floor
Accessed by a wooden staircase, this level comprises a bathroom and a large, bright, south-facing bedroom overlooking the street.
The second floor
The second upper level offers two shower rooms separated by a wooden wall unit from a room serving as a library and storage area. Light pours in through two windows on the street side, identical to those on the first floor.
Cellar
This level comprises two large volumes, which extend over the floor area of the sitting room and the two utility rooms on the ground floor.
